Oh yes, this is me today--still in bed =)
Summer Break starts today! My spirit and mind are so relaxed and joyful. Summer is such a dear time to me. My life almost stands still for these 10 weeks. It's exactly what a teacher needs to get rejuvinated for the Fall.
I'm looking forward to............
playing in the creek
bike riding
running barefoot in the backyard
spending more time with HIM
kickball games
swimming at Lake Monroe
sleeping in
writing and journaling
purging and cleaning the house
staying caught up with laundry
visiting the ocean
camping
laughing with my children
being still with less rush and go
afternoons, on a blanket in the sun, reading
grilling a salmon for lunch
a summer getaway with my beard
crafting and sewing

For Sale: Vintage Shasta Travel Trailer
Yes, you read that right--we've officially outgrown our sweet lil' camper. It's time for an upgrade. Of course, we will be sad to see Daisy go, but we are super stoked about finding something that better fits our growing family.
I will post more pictures later if it is still available. I just listed it on Craigslist last night, and I have 2 people coming to look at it this evening.

A Simply Beautiful Mother's Day
My 10th year being a mother.
I'm in awe of how the people who surround my life just fill it with so many precious memories and amazing moments.
The love of my life continues to seek out the most perfect gifts for me
beautiful butter cream Hitchcock table.
Nanny and Pa stole the kids for a few hours--not only did it give me some alone time with my gorgeous husband, but they helped the kids paint and decorate cans. Then they filled them with sweet flowers.
The card-- A bicycle, the words, his inscription in it..All of it--beautiful just like he is....absolutely beyond thoughtful. Oooo and tucked inside a gift card at one of my favorite coffee shops. (sssh don't tell my kidney specialist)
Silas was too busy to even contemplate a picture after church--so we just laughed and I captured this adorable picture of these three.

Such a blessed mama--hearts!
P.S--I was taking all of these sweet pictures with another Mother's Day gift--my new iphone!
A Camping We Will Go
Ooo yes!
We were finally able to enjoy a weekend camping, swimming, biking, and playing. The kids had been begging for several weeks now, and rainy or busy weekends had held us off.
Lake Monroe, Paynetown, is currently our spot of choice. It's close to home. The water and campground is clean. There are playgrounds, trails, and lots of things to keep our family of five busy.
Silas is just like the rest of us--He loves camping! He has changed so much since our camping adventures in the fall. He rides his 3 wheeler, plays in the water for hours, and BEST of all SLEEPS at night.
A weekend full of cherished family moments.
Hope your weekend was beautiful as well.

Eli is desperatly trying to talk his dad into renting this double decker boat for his buddies sometime this summer. If I know my soft hearted husband, we'll be back here shortly for a boat trip with a bunch of 10 year old boys.
